Our goal is to provide meaningful healthcare and education to children in underserved communities, and to be the best employer to our support staff as possible. We were founded by a private equity group as a for-profit business. The practice wasn't profitable enough to sit in their portfolio. In 2014 we transitioned to being 100% doctor owned and operated. -  We're not a DSO! It's not a secret - we're a pediatric office and our payor base is primarily Medicaid sponsored. Thankfully, as of August 2023, Louisiana Medicaid programs have higher reimbursement rates than most PPO network contracts.
