Panhandle Dental / Dimmitt Dental is a trusted, community-centered practice in Dimmitt, Texas, and the only dental office in the county. We're a 4-operatory PPO and fee-for-service practice with good patient flow and a genuinely strong reputation. We're a single full-time dentist practice supported by 1 hygienist, 3 RDAs, and 3 front-office team members, seeing about 50 new patients a month. Our culture is team-oriented (we all have each other's backs), and we live by our core purpose: go above and beyond for every patient, every time. We also believe in transparency and honesty, so you'll have full access to financial and production reports through our cloud-based software (Dentrix Ascend and Jarvis analytics).

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: 30% of adjusted production

Expected Earnings: $250,000–$350,000 annually

Daily Guarantee: For the first 6 months, you'll earn the greater of $1,100/day or 30% of adjusted production, a monthly minimum gross of $17,600 working 4 days a week. After the initial period, compensation moves to 30% of adjusted production.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time associate role with a genuine 4-day workweek and excellent work-life balance.

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
• Closed Mondays

You'll provide a broad scope of general dentistry, and we're looking for someone comfortable and efficient across:

• Bread-and-butter dentistry (crowns and bridges, about 30% of the procedure mix)
• Molar surgical extractions (non-wisdom teeth)
• Endodontics (anterior, pre-molar, and ideally first molar)
• Removable prosthodontics (traditional dentures, partials, Locator overdentures)
• Implant placement (guided or free-hand)
• Clear aligner therapy (we use OrthoFx), with the ability to learn and offer it

You'll have mentorship available one day per week with the owner dentist, plus the chance to learn the business side of dentistry through DEO coaching alongside the owner.

• CBCT 3D imaging for implant planning and endo cases
• Trios 5 intraoral scanner
• Intraoral cameras in every operatory
• Diode laser
• Dentrix Ascend cloud-based practice management and Jarvis analytics

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

• A licensed general dentist with at least 2 years of experience outside dental school (strongly recommended), or a completed AEGD/GPR residency
• Comfortable and efficient across crowns, bridges, molar surgical extractions, endodontics, removable prosthetics, and implant placement
• Willing to learn and offer clear aligner therapy
• Coachable, detail-oriented, and open-minded, embodying our "Chief Energy Officer" spirit
