The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive general dentistry to patients of all ages. Procedures may include:
Comprehensive, periodic, limited, and emergency examinations
Diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning
Direct restorations, including composite fillings
Crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays
Cosmetic dentistry, including veneers and smile enhancement
Endodontic treatment, including root canal therapy
Simple and surgical extractions, based on experience and comfort level
Removable prosthodontics, including complete and partial dentures
Implant restorations
Implant placement, if appropriately trained and credentialed
Periodontal diagnosis and treatment
Emergency dental treatment
Occlusal guards and other oral appliances
Clear aligner therapy, including Invisalign
Teeth whitening and other elective cosmetic procedures
Evaluation and treatment of existing restorative and prosthetic cases
Other general dental procedures consistent with the dentist's training, experience, licensure, and scope of practice
The Associate Dentist will be expected to develop comprehensive treatment plans, educate patients regarding treatment options, maintain appropriate clinical documentation, and work collaboratively with the hygiene, assisting, and administrative teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Advanced procedures such as implant surgery, complex endodontics, surgical extractions, and advanced cosmetic cases may be incorporated based on the Associate Dentist's experience and interests, with mentorship available as appropriate.
