Masonboro Kids Dentistry is a fee-for-service pediatric dental practice in Wilmington, North Carolina. Open just over a year, we've grown faster than our chair time, and we're adding a doctor to meet demand.

We're hiring for someone who wants more than an associate role. Partnership and ownership are part of the plan from the start, not a vague "maybe someday."

The Opportunity

Our patient demand is growing faster than our chair time, so you'll step into booked days immediately. As the practice expands, you'll shape the pediatric side of the practice and build real equity in its future.

Fee-for-service model: treatment is planned around what the patient needs, not what an insurance company will approve.

Your clinical judgment, respected: you make the treatment decisions. We provide the support, not the second-guessing.

Your clinical scope will include:

• Comprehensive examinations and treatment planning
• Restorative and preventive care
• Patient and parent education
• Full pediatric care within your scope of practice

A team that handles the rest: an office manager, experienced assistants, and an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (DA II) who handles digital radiographs, child prophylaxis, fluoride, and sealants. The front office manages scheduling, billing, and patient communication, so your time goes to patients.

Modern technology: digital scanner, CBCT imaging, and nitrous oxide in kid-friendly operatories designed to help young patients feel at ease.

Ideal Candidate

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
• Active North Carolina license or eligible for licensure
• Pediatric dentist, or a general dentist with significant experience treating children
• Enjoys making kids feel safe and confident in the chair
• Clear, warm communicator with children, parents, and team
• Wants a long-term home, not a stopover, with interest in future partnership or ownership
