Associate Dentist Opportunity

Locations: Otego & Oneonta (approximately 13 minutes apart)

We are seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to work across two well-established, patient-focused practices in a rural New York community. This opportunity comes as the owner, Dr. Knox, begins to gradually reduce her clinical load while continuing to mentor and support a new associate.

With strong patient demand—including overflow from a nearby office that is closing—you’ll step into a busy schedule with immediate opportunity to produce.

Schedule

• Full-time schedule with flexibility to expand

Practice Overview

• Primarily fee-for-service (no insurance participation; claims submitted for patient reimbursement)
• Courtesy care provided for veterans and senior patients
• Loyal, long-standing patient base with strong community ties
• Currently experiencing patient overflow due to high demand

Clinical Scope & Technology

You’ll have the autonomy to shape your clinical focus:

• Strong emphasis on periodontics, with the opportunity to grow this area
• Implants currently placed and restored in-house by Dr. Knox
• Endodontics supported by Dr. Alex
• Technology includes:
  • CBCT
  • Laser dentistry
  • Digital scanning (including crown scanning and tooth movement tracking)

Mentorship & Support

• Highly mentorship-driven environment — ideal for new grads or early-career dentists
• Preference for candidates with a residency, but motivated new grads are welcome
• Direct clinical guidance from experienced doctors
• Supportive onboarding as Dr. Knox transitions toward partial retirement
