Compensation: 35% of adjusted gross production (production minus insurance write-offs & negative adjustments; uncollected accounts deducted after 90 days)
Expected Earnings: $150,000–$275,000 annually
Daily/Monthly Guarantee: $12,000/month guaranteed for the first 6 months

Continuing Education (CE): $1,000 annually (directly paid or reimbursed with receipts)
401(k): 3% safe harbor non-elective contribution, vested immediately; yearly profit-sharing vested on a 6-year graded schedule
Signing Bonus: $5,000 payable on first day or included in first paycheck
Professional Memberships: First 3 years’ premiums reimbursed for liability coverage and ADA/local dental association dues
We are seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to join a highly supportive, inclusive team in a long-standing practice. The position is open to candidates with a range of experience and offers mentorship, peer support, and continuing education opportunities.
Scope of Work Includes:
General dentistry: simple restorative, crowns/bridges, extractions, simple oral surgery
Pediatrics and Invisalign (optional)
Implant restorative (placement optional)
Root canals currently referred, but in-house instruments available
Technology & Support Includes:
Digital X-rays
3D/CBCT imaging
Diode laser
Intraoral scanner/cameras
Megagen implant system
The ideal candidate is:
Licensed General Dentist
Strong patient communication, teamwork, independence, positivity, and willingness to learn

New grads: Yes
Experience preferred: No strict minimum, but retiring partner role may suit experienced candidates
Full-time (4-day work week)
Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (actual days TBD; possible shortened Friday; no weekends)

Dental Associates of Grinnell is a practice established in the 1970’s in the heart of Grinnell, Iowa. We are a busy, two doctor practice looking for an associate dentist for a full time position. Our most senior dentist is looking to retire soon.
We are equipped to provide a full range of treatment for our patients, including complete exams, hygiene appointments, treatment plans, preventative and restorative dentistry, crown and bridge, dentures, implant placement and restoration, endodontics and oral surgery.
Our hygienists, assistants, business staff and doctors work closely to provide quality dental care to the citizens of Grinnell and surrounding communities. We enjoy both work and play and take time throughout the year for team building and fun activities together.
