Dunstan Dental Center has proudly served Scarborough, Maine since 1986. Founded by the current owners' parents, also a husband-and-wife team, the practice has remained family-owned for nearly 40 years, fostering a close-knit, family-oriented culture that continues today.

Our team of five full-time dentists includes long-tenured associates, some of whom have been with us 20+ years, and we enjoy mentoring while respecting autonomy. Many of our patients are multi-generational families, reflecting a stable, loyal patient base that allows our associates to grow professionally and build long-term relationships.

We’re seeking an associate dentist who is looking for a long-term home in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Expected annual compensation: $200,000–$300,000

• Starting compensation is 35% of collections, with growth opportunities over time.

• Optional daily guarantee for the first 3 months: $800/day against collections

• Full schedule from day one

• 4–5 day workweek

• Mentorship from experienced dentists

• Modern technology including advanced CEREC same-day crown systems

The Opportunity
This full-time associate role offers a consistently busy patient flow and a supportive, family-oriented environment. You’ll provide comprehensive care, including:

• New patient exams

• Preventive, operative, and prosthodontic treatments

• Restorative care, including single-unit and short-span crowns, bridges, and implant restorations

The practice emphasizes a balanced workflow, supported by modern technology, multiple CEREC units, and efficient systems. Doctors enjoy mentoring new associates while allowing autonomy in treatment planning and scheduling.
