Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal patient care

  • Educate patients on treatment plans and long-term oral health

  • Take radiographs/x-rays in accordance with state guidelines

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records

  • Oversee operatory setup, breakdown, and sterilization processes

  • Collaborate closely with dentists, assistants, and front office teams

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, HITECH, and state dental regulations

Qualifications

  • Active state dental hygiene license

  • CPR certification

  • Radiography/X-ray certification per state requirements

  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

  • Positive, patient-focused, and collaborative mindset

  • Commitment to clinical excellence and ongoing professional development
