Douglas B. Gultz, D.M.D. & Associates is a modern, well-established dental practice in Newark’s vibrant Ironbound district. Conveniently located near Penn Station and surrounded by some of Newark’s best dining options, our practice offers a welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere.

Dr. Gultz, with over 45 years of experience, provides mentorship to support your professional growth. We have bilingual support staff and translators for Spanish and Portuguese, making it easy to serve our diverse patient base.

We’re seeking a confident and skilled dentist with 5+ years of post-residency experience to step into this high-impact role and contribute immediately to our patient-focused care model.

Compensation & Schedule

• $300/hour base pay for Thursday evenings (4 PM – 9 PM), totaling $1,500 per day
• Additional performance-based bonus opportunities

• Thursday: 4 PM – 9 PM (required)

Technology & Facilities

• TRIOS 5 digital scanner
• Six operatories equipped with A-dec dental units
• CAT-Scan with Panorex imaging

What You’ll Do

• Perform comprehensive general dentistry procedures including:
• Oral exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Preventive care: cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments
• Restorative treatments: fillings (composite and amalgam), crowns, bridges, and veneers
• Extractions of non-complex teeth
• Periodontal maintenance and treatment
• Fabrication and adjustment of removable prosthetics and nightguards
• Patient education and follow-up care
• Collaborate closely with the dental team to deliver seamless patient experiences

Who We’re Looking For

• Experienced dentists with 5+ years of post-residency experience
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork
• Bilingual skills in Spanish or Portuguese a plus but not required
