Part time Periodontist

What are some features of your dental practice?

This is a part time position for a periodontist position on Tuesday and Fridays in Dr Sam Khoury’s office located in Newtown, Bucks County.

 

The position for is ideal for a young periodontist willing to transition to a full-time position with full ownership in 2-3 years

 

The position is an initial contract position transitioning into full ownership 

What are some of the features of the position?

This Periodontist will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills, as well as be pleasant and patient by nature.  Furthermore, this periodontist must be willing and able to work with experienced staff that can guide and help when required.  

All cutting edge technology available such as a brand new CBCT, digital scanner, Piezo unit, as well as all the tools needed o accomplish ideal implant placement with guided surgery, and anterior temporization as well an implant study club. 

This periodontist must also possess manual dexterity and be up to date with the latest surgical treatment methods including sinus lifts, ridge augmentation, use of Piezo, and all the latest techniques for soft tissue grafting for teeth and implants.

 Responsibilities:

Create dental treatment plans and coordinate oral health care during patient consultations.

Communicate clearly with referring dentists

Must be willing and focused on growing his/her schedule by meeting referring dentists

Must be willing and able to offer Continuing educations lectures (AGD credits given by Dr Khoury)

Specialize in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal and in the placement of dental implants

Adhere to all federal and government regulations, including the state dental board rules and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

DDS or DMD degree and specialized training in periodontics

Master’s of Science or Master’s of Public Health (Preferred but not required)

Board Certification and IV Sedation (Preferred but not required).

Cone Beam scanner

Digital Scanner

Digital radiography in each operatory 

Computers with large monitors in front of patients 

Team:

Experienced Support Staff with long-term members

As an associate, you will have 2 dedicated assistants

Compensation:

Guaranteed daily up to $1250/day scaled up in 6 months, and 38% of allocated collections.

Reconciled Bonus every 2 months

What procedures will the associate be doing?

This Periodontist will be performing surgical and non-surgical periodontal procedures, diagnosing and treating periodontal conditions, and placement of dental implants.
