Associate Pediatric Dentist

In an effort be transparent and not look like most other job posting, we'll be short and blunt!

• We make business decisions with our mission statement in mind. Our goal is to provide meaningful healthcare and education to children in underserved communities, and to be the best employer to our support staff as possible.
• We were founded by a private equity group as a for-profit business. The practice wasn't profitable enough to sit in their portfolio. In 2014 we transitioned to being 100% doctor owned and operated. - We're not a DSO!
• It's not a secret - we're a pediatric office and our payor base is primarily Medicaid sponsored.
  • Thankfully, as of August 2023, Louisiana Medicaid programs have higher reimbursement rates than most PPO network contracts.
  • We have to work relatively high volumes of patient appointments due to no-show rates to remain a sustainable business. Our office is relatively fast paced on the hygiene side.
  • We typically schedule two columns of restorative in addition to hygiene checks.
  • We do not have production quotas/ goals - but we do have a LOT of patients

Schedule:

We are open Monday - Friday from 7:45am to 3:45pm.
On OCS days, we start earlier due to the stress on patients and parents.
We are looking for an associate to work 4+ days a week.

Salary and Benefits

We have associates which are W2 employees and 1099 'contractors'. Our personal opinion is as an associate, you should be classified as an employee.

• Salary: 34% Adjusted Production
• Daily Guarantee: Negotiated or $1,000.00 per day worked for the first 90 days

Our average GP is producing $3,200.00+ a day, with occasional peaks over $5,000.00.
Our average Pedodontist is producing $4,200 a day. The Pedodontist which is working a few days a month in our Baton Rouge location is producing over $8,000.00 a day doing OCS cases working 4 hours a day.

Due to our patient demographic, we often encounter patients that have higher restorative needs than can be provided by most providers in an outpatient setting. We are looking for a Pediatric dentist that is willing to work 2 hospital days a month for multi-quad restorative cases when the provider feels GA is necessity for restorative procedures
