What procedures will the associate be doing?

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages.
  • Mentorship provided for the following procedures including but not limited to:
    • Fillings, extractions, root canals, bridges, crowns, implants, veneers, and orthodontics
  • Provide preventive dental care, oral hygiene instructions, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education (internal and external) and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active dental license in Kansas or have the ability to obtain licensure (First Dental will facilitate licensure if needed).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate.
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency and knowledge of dental procedures and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse range of dental cases.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality dental care and maintaining patient satisfaction.
  • Prior experience or specialized training in specific areas of dentistry is a plus.
