Seeking Associate for a BUSY practice in West Virginia.

Unlimited "Earning and Learning" potential from a down to earth owner with 20yrs experience.

 

About:

  • Our practice was established 16rs ago, by the owner himself. 
  • Large modern 5,000 sq.ft office with spacious hallways and operatories. 
  • 14ops. 
  • We have 2 Medit intra-oral scanners, 2 3D printers a Proform and a Sprint Ray, FOTONA Lightwalker Laser,  that we use for restorative, O.S and perio but mostly for Photobiomodulation with our Genova and Marco Handpieces.  We will use the laser for S.W.E.E.P.S endo as well.  The machine is a multifunctional beast.
  • We are doing our own in house Ortho Aligner Therapy and have the capability to 3D print crowns.   Porcelain Infused resin so we can bill insurance.
  • We have a Seiler Alpha Air 6 dental Microscope for endo, if that's something you want to get experience with.
  • We have the occasional cosmetic case and a few implant restoration cases.  We are heavy in adolescent molar endo cases (mostly Medicaid) to help you hone your endo skills on less technical larger canals. 
    • Those are followed up with cores and Crown

 

Team / Culture

  • 18 team members not including docs
  • 4 hygienists, 8 assistants, 4 front office workers, a manager and a dedicated biller. 
  • Open door policy.  We've helped train more than twelve 4th year dental students by being an offsite faculty member of the WV School of Dentistry Rural Health Program. 
  • Our associateship model encourages growth and experience at your own pace.  Just ask the former associates or students about their experience here.
    • We have employed 10 full time and part time associates over the last 10yrs, helping them grow then watching them spread their wings and fly. 
    • We've had associates of 5yrs, 2yrs and many part timers making long drives for the experience.
      • We even flew a guy from California 1 week a month for 6 months.  

 

Patients:

  • We have a loyal, forgiving patient base in Southern WV. We help people. We do nuts and bolts dentistry.
  • We have a wide age variety.  No Pediatric offices or Endo offices within 30 miles.  We refer out comprehensive pedo cases but would be totally open to having the work stay in house or at a Hospital Close if you obtained those privileges.

  

Location:

  • As far as being situated in the heart of Appalachia, there are too many things to list got the outdoor enthusiast
  • We are in the center of ATV country with access to the Hatfield and McCoy Trail system and most trailheads are minutes from most residential areas.
  • 3 Bow Only Deer Hunting counties surround the area.
  • Logan, Mingo, McDowell counties are Bow only. Pike County, KY neighbors and is gun hunting/crossbow accessible.
    • This allows some of the best and most challenging WhiteTail Deer Hunting in the U.S.
  • Add the Tug Fork River, Guyandotte River Tributary in West Virginia and Levisa Fork of the Tug, smallmouth fishing and you won't have to worry about what to do on your weekends.
 

 

Salary / Earning Potential

  • $180-unlimited; First year salary $180k-$192k BOE. Opportunity to make $250k+
  • We do not cap your earning potential. 
  • Base with commissions based off of a % of Monthly Adjusted Production or Collections.   
  • We are approved as a N.H.S.C (National Health Service Core) site. That pays 50k tax exempt for a 2 yr commitment that the owner himself is currently contracted with.  I read that will go up to 75k next year
    • Add that 50k tax exempt, onto a 180-192k guaranteed base and you have a  $250k package deal.

What procedures will the associate be doing?

  • All aspects of restorative dentistry.  Minus implant placement and very limited removable. 
  • Tons of restorations to help you learn the difficult cases and get a feel for what works and what doesn't and most importantly why.  Experience is key.  Laying the proper foundation for your future skill set requires repetition and experience on all aspects. 
  • Have the flexibility to pursue what interests you the most.
