At Gentle Dental Center our goal is to assist each patient in achieving and maintaining long term dental health and a beautiful smile.  Our practice has always aimed to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients utilizing the latest technologies and tools available in the field.  We are proud to serve the Virginia Beach community with our two locations.

We have digital Schick senors, a digital Pan, nomads, and use Eaglesoft.  We are a busy office, always getting calls for new patients while also seeing patients who have been around since before Dr Hooper bought the practice over 15 years ago.   

We are looking for a skilled and caring dentist to join Gentle Dental Center to provide comprehensive dental care to our patients while ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and oral health.  You will lead a team of dental professionals, including dental hygienist, dental assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional dental services.

What procedures will the associate be doing?

  • Conducting thorough oral examinations, reviewing patients’ dental and medical histories, and diagnosing dental conditions and diseases
  • Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on patients’ oral health needs and goals
  • Interpreting diagnostic tests and performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, crown and bridge work, dentures, and dental implants
  • Administering anesthetics and sedatives as necessary for patient comfort during dental procedures
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive dental care, and the importance of regular dental visits
  • Coordinating and collaborating with dental specialists, as needed, to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in dental techniques, technologies, and best practices through continuing education and professional development
  • Managing and supervising dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other dental staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of the dental practice
  • Fostering a positive and welcoming dental office environment, providing excellent customer service and patient care
