General Dentist (Associate)

We are on the search for an Associate General Dentist on a full-time or part-time basis! 

Two locations: Grand Rapids, OH & Clyde, OH are in need of an Associate General Dentist!

Grand Rapids Family Dental: 24163 Front St, Grand Rapids, OH 43522

Premier Dental: 510 E McPherson Hwy, Clyde, OH 43410

This provides a unique opportunity to work in highly successful modern general dentistry practices with an abundance of existing family practice patients. Clinical schedule is open for discussion and is flexible to the candidates' needs/desires.

Up to 35% Collection based pay (minus 1/2 lab expense)

General Dentist’s Responsibilities:  

• Our perfect General Dentist will deliver excellence in clinical care & focus on exceptional patient care
• Willingness to travel between locations would be preferable
• Skill in providing excellent customer service and support; organizing and prioritizing general dentistry workload
• Delivery of patient and team education with proficient written and verbal communication
• Perform dental examinations and create comprehensive treatment plans   
• Diagnose and deliver clear aligner technology orthodontic treatment- Invisalign 
• Interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, social, economic, education, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds
• Consistently maintain ethical behavior exemplary of quality public service and fair standards, inclusively, among all employees and members of the public
• Work effectively with fellow BDD Doctors, Registered Dental Hygienists, managers, co-workers
• Follow general dentistry practice guidelines – including OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. 
• Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to participation on clinical committees, providing education, Quality Reviews and/or other team activities
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Hold self and fellow team members accountable to follow the culture established in the BDD Mission and Values
• Participate in marketing strategies to provide growth to practice

Requirements of General Dentist:  

• Licensed to practice general dentistry in the State of Ohio
• Certified Invisalign provider
• Current CPR certification 
• Valid {State} Driver’s License       
• Current Immunization Records       

General Dentistry Skills:

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal relations
• General pleasant, friendly, caring demeanor
• Excellent Oral and written communication
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental environment
• Ability to communicate and build lasting relationships with patients and team members
• Integrity driven, team-player
• Provide excellent clinical care/diagnosis in all aspects of general dentistry
• Experience with Invisalign clear aligners and iTero scanning technology
• Experience with modern dental whitening procedures 
• Certification for Botox and cosmetic fillers is a plus 
• Proficient with dental software's- (Denticon PMS)
