Associate General Dentist

A thriving and well established general dental office is seeking an associate general dentist to join our AWESOME TEAM, 4-5 days a week, once we have your schedule ramped up.  We have a highly cohesive, supportive and positive team that is eager to welcome a second dentist into our practice.

We have a modern practice with all technologies including Cone beam, digital x-rays, CEREC, digital data gathering through Itero, and more. You will share existing & new patients with our current owner doctor and you will have generous autonomy over your patients and schedule.  We strive to schedule your day based on your desire and practice speed.  Our office is contracted with some dental benefits plans.  We will support you through external marketing and we really desire to help you grow your patient base, quickly.  We also value continuing education & mentorship and value the opportunity to help you grow your skills.  We work with Spear Practice Solutions and have a great database of trainings and a practice support specialist to assist us in getting you up and running.

Owner doctor plans to continue practicing for quite some time; but this position may provide, over time, the opportunity to explore the purchase of the practice itself.

Your Role as General Dentist:

While you will provide a wide range of general dentistry procedures for your patients with broad autonomy over their treatment needs, we’ll worry about the day-to-day operations of running a practice for you. We will provide you with a competent clinical team and our business office will handle the administrative side for you.  You will work closely with our owner doctor and clinical administrator to hone your skills and create a thriving, productive, and rewarding schedule.

Current Compensation Includes:

• Excellent & competitive % of collections, with a daily minimum.

Some Key Job Requirements:

• Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) (required)
• Current CPR/BLS Certificate
• Current Oregon License or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain productive relationships with coworkers, clients and other contacts
• Ability to accept feedback from a variety of sources and constructively manage any conflict
• Patience & the ability to train staff to your preferred method
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities in a sometimes fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to remain professional and positive while still having fun with your team
