What are some features of your dental practice?

Dr. Eric Bernstein is an established practice owner in Providence, Rhode Island, building a brand new location and looking for a dentist to own and lead it as a partner, not an associate.

This is an opportunity for a dentist who wants to enter ownership without the capital, the startup risk, or the years of waiting. Dr. Bernstein provides the capital. You provide the clinical leadership and the long-term commitment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Owner-partner structure with equity from the start
  • Year-one earnings expected at $150,000–$250,000, growing with the practice as an owner
  • Capital provided by Dr. Bernstein, no personal investment required to open
  • Compensation and equity terms discussed directly with Dr. Bernstein and tailored to the right candidate
  • Established patient base provided, so you’re producing from day one
  • Experienced transitions team in place to structure the partnership properly

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Days and hours set with Dr. Bernstein based on the practice and your preferences

The Opportunity

Ownership is the hard part of dentistry to break into, especially with student loans. This role removes the barrier: a brand new, fully funded office location with 3 to 5 operatories, a patient base ready for you, and a partner who has already built multiple successful practices and wants to see you do the same.

You’ll have clinical autonomy to practice what you’re comfortable with. The scope is yours to define, and the more you can do in-house, the less you refer out and the stronger the practice’s profitability, which you share in as an owner. Dentists who go beyond restorative into endo, surgery, implants, or aligners will see that reflected directly.

Southern New England is a generational opportunity. The average dentist in Rhode Island is 62 years old, and the same is true across eastern Connecticut and the New London and Fairfield County corridors. The next decade will see an unprecedented transfer of patients to the dentists positioned to receive them. This role puts you in that position with a partner’s backing.

Open to all experience levels. Whether you’re a few years out and ready to own, or more experienced and tired of building someone else’s practice, the right fit matters more than the resume.

Ideal Candidate

  • Licensed general dentist, or eligible for Rhode Island licensure
  • Wants to own, and is ready to think like an owner about patient care, production, and the practice’s growth
  • Comfortable with a broad clinical scope, or motivated to expand it
  • Long-term mindset: this is a partnership, not a stepping stone
  • Any experience level, from early-career to established
