Associate Dentist / Prosthodontist | Practice High-End Dentistry 3 Days a Week | Fee-for-Service | Established Patient Base | Georgetown, Washington DC

Smiles International is an established, entirely fee-for-service practice in Washington, DC (West End / Georgetown) and McLean, Virginia, built around prosthodontics, comprehensive, restorative, cosmetic, implant, and interdisciplinary care. Our philosophy is simple: give doctors the clinical resources, technology, in-house lab support, experienced team, and professional environment to practice dentistry at a consistently high level.

As our senior partner prepares to retire, we're seeking an exceptional general dentist or prosthodontist to step into his established patient base, a rare chance to inherit a loyal, well-cared-for patient population built over decades, rather than building from scratch.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: 35% of production

Expected Earnings: $200,000–$250,000 annually

Daily Guarantee: Negotiable

Benefits Include:

• Health insurance: 50% of premiums covered (individual and family) on a high-end PPO reference plan
• 401(k): 4% Safe Harbor match (best-in-class after one year)
• $2,000 annual CE allowance
• Paid time off, scaling with tenure (1 week to start, up to 4 weeks at 11+ years)

The Opportunity

Step into an established, loyal patient base as our senior partner retires, with the resources to practice at the highest level from day one.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 7:15 AM to 4:30 PM (an additional day is possible)

Because we're entirely fee-for-service, treatment decisions stay centered on what's best for the patient, not what a plan allows. You'll be backed by an experienced administrative and hygiene team and our own in-house dental laboratory, staffed by two experienced technicians including a master ceramist, working exclusively with our doctors and patients to make treatment planning and restorative delivery genuinely collaborative.

You'll focus on a broad, high-end restorative scope, including:

• Comprehensive restorative dentistry
• Crowns, bridges, and veneers
• Dental implant restorations (single and bridges)
• Implant placement

Mentorship & Growth

This is mentorship that actually moves you forward. You'll have direct mentorship from a prosthodontist with roughly 30 years of experience in complex restorative, implant, cosmetic, and interdisciplinary dentistry. The goal isn't supervision, it's helping the right clinician diagnose more comprehensively, plan more sophisticated cases, communicate treatment with confidence, and take on complex dentistry they may not have had the resources to attempt before.

Ideal Candidate

• A general dentist with 3–5 years of experience and a GPR or AEGD, with a strong restorative background, or a prosthodontist

• Someone who doesn't expect to know everything, but genuinely wants to keep getting better
