Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $58 to $63 per hour

Benefits Include:

• Continuing education: reimbursement, plus courses taken together as a staff
• Paid time off, accruing at 1 hour per 30 hours worked

The Opportunity

This is a part-time opportunity in a relaxed, periodontal-focused practice with no weekends.

A R Periodontics offers a calm clinical environment where you can focus on delivering excellent periodontal care, building long-term patient relationships, and taking real ownership of the recall system.

Technology & Clinical Support

You'll work with modern technology and equipment, including:

• Digital radiography
• Intraoral camera
• Ultrasonic scaler
• Wireless prophy handpiece

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

• A licensed Registered Dental Hygienist
• Experience in a periodontal practice and with scaling and root planing preferred
• Local anesthesia certification a plus, and familiarity with Dentrix a plus
• Strong clinically, and a genuine independent, self-sufficient worker
• Committed to building and maintaining the recall system

Please note: this role has no hygiene assistant, so the ideal candidate is self-sufficient and self-motivated. The hygienist is expected to help make recall appointments, assist in filling the schedule, and coordinate with referring practices for updated radiographs.
