Capital Region Periodontics is a fast-paced, family-owned, and highly collaborative periodontal practice located just 10 minutes from downtown Albany, New York. We deliver advanced, specialized periodontal care in a supportive, team-oriented environment, and we're expanding our practice, creating an excellent opportunity for a periodontist to step into a busy, growing role.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: 40% of production

Expected Earnings: $425,000 annually

Benefits Include:

• Annual CE allowance, with five paid CE days per year
• Practice-paid LANAP training and certification (an approximately $25,000 value, subject to agreed-upon service terms)
• Practice-sponsored health insurance, with the practice covering the employee's individual premium (dependent and family coverage available at the employee's expense)
• 401(k) retirement plan available
• Signing incentive: the comprehensive, practice-paid LANAP training and certification described above
• Relocation assistance: up to $5,000 in reimbursed moving expenses

The Opportunity

This is a full-time or part-time role with schedule flexibility, brought on to support our practice expansion.

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, Monday through Friday, with the practice open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Flexible start and end times (a 9:00 AM start or 4:00 PM end can be arranged)
• A 3- or 4-day workweek is possible

You'll perform a full scope of advanced periodontal and surgical procedures, including:

• LANAP and LAPIP
• Tissue grafting (CTG, FGG, Pinhole)
• Implants, extractions, and bone grafts
• Sinus augmentation
• Crown lengthening, frenectomy, and implant uncovery

Mentorship & Growth

You'll have access to informal mentorship and strong CE opportunities, including fully paid LANAP training, in a collaborative environment designed to help you continue advancing your surgical skill set. For the right long-term fit, there is a genuine path to partnership as our practice continues to grow.

Technology & Systems

Our practice is technology-forward and fully equipped, including:

• CBCT imaging
• Digital X-rays
• CAD/CAM implant planning
• In-house 3D printers
• Intraoral scanners
• In-house photogrammetry

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

• A licensed periodontist, or a dentist with strong periodontal and surgical skills
• New graduates and experienced clinicians are both encouraged to apply
• Willing to obtain LANAP and Pinhole certifications (LANAP training is fully paid for)
• Patient-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
• Committed to quality care and continued clinical growth
