Deaton Dental is a family-oriented, collaborative private practice located in the heart of Summerville, South Carolina, a fast-growing town just outside Charleston. We stress patient education and take pride in a supportive, team-focused environment where quality care comes first.

Our practice is growing, and we're looking to bring on an associate as our owner begins to step back toward a three-day week. This is a genuine opportunity for a dentist who wants to grow into a long-term partnership, working alongside someone who values different ideas and techniques and is always happy to both learn and teach.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: 30% to 35% of production

Daily Guarantee: $800 per day for the first 3 months
With typical days producing $5,000 to $10,000, there's strong potential to earn well above the daily guarantee on a production-based structure.

• CE stipend available, and we're open to structuring benefits that work for both you and the practice

The Opportunity

This is a part-time opportunity to start, with a flexible schedule built around what works for you, and a genuine path to partnership and long-term growth.

Schedule:

• Part-time to start, typically Thursdays and Fridays, growing toward three continuous days over time
  
• Part-time days can be arranged around your needs, with real flexibility for the right candidate

You'll practice a comfortable, manageable scope of general dentistry, including:

• Fillings
• Crowns
• Some removable prosthetics

We refer a good deal out, so you'll practice within your comfort zone, focusing on the dentistry you do best.

Mentorship & Growth

We are happy to help in any way possible and offer informal guidance whenever it's useful, but this role is designed for a dentist who can confidently handle their day independently.
Most importantly, we're looking for a long-term partner to grow, someone to share ideas and techniques with as the practice continues to expand.

Technology & Systems

Our practice is fully digital, equipped with:

• Digital X-rays
• Intraoral scanner
• 3D printer
• Electronic health records

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is:

• A licensed general dentist with some experience preferred
• Able to work independently and handle a full day with confidence (since part of the goal is for me to step back)
• Positive above all, a great attitude is the number one priority
• Clinically strong with excellent patient communication
• Interested in a long-term role with a genuine path to partnership

Experience is preferred, though flexible for the right fit.
