A Crossville area local, Dr. Johnny Shanks grew up here and feels privileged to be able to serve his local community with exceptional personalized dental care. He graduated from Campbellsville University with a BS in biology and chemistry. He attained his dental degree from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in Memphis. To provide exceptional care to his patients and their families, he’s also graduated from the Kois Center® for Dental Excellence, which teaches the latest advances in esthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Shanks partners with his patients to help you maintain your oral health and promises to keep you informed throughout your time at Northside Family Dentistry so you can make educated decisions about your dental and overall health.

At Northside Family Dentistry we strive to take great care of patients while providing ideal treatment and allowing our team to have a work-life balance.  We are open Monday-Thursday from 7am-4pm and work approximately 180 days per year. We believe in taking time off that aligns with our county school system to allow for family time. We operate from a list of company core values, with the #1 core value being Team Freakin' Work!
