Refresh Valley Dental

Our practice's core values are compassion, collaboration, and growth.

Our mission is to empower our community to live healthier lives, eat well and smile with pride, by making exceptional dental care easy, welcoming, and shame-free.

Our team is kind of weird and nerdy, and very fun. Our hygiene team is on top of perio, and both dentists treatment plan comprehensively. My (owner) dominant personal traits are probably patience and acceptance, and I deep value understanding and connection. I sign along to most of the songs.

Our patients are varied, but mostly anxious, queer, or both.

The town is very liberal, has a lot of good restaurants, bookstores, cafes, galleries, and live music. It's very close to the Appalachian Trail and Berkshires, and only 2 hours from Boston (about 4 hours to NYC and there's a train that goes directly there).

The office is just under 5 years old (a scratch start), has 8 treatment rooms, and is equipped with BQE ErgoDynamic stools, a CBCT, implant set up, surgical piezo, rotary endo and endo piezo. We are also close to getting our moderate sedation office permit. We have many plants, high ceilings and giant windows. We also have a playlist nearing 5000 songs, so the music does not get stale. The dentists share a large office in the back, and 4 of the treatment rooms (2 each on the days we work).

Our schedule is fairly busy without getting too crazy. We will be adding a 5th hygienist to our current 2 doctor practice in August to accommodate for new patient capacity. My current associate is also going on maternity for 2 to 3 months starting in mid-August. Upon returning, she is planning on cutting back a day. I would also like to cut back a day when possible. A new associate would start off busy and stay that way.

Currently no one in the practice does molar endo, and very little ortho is done in house. While we do see pediatric patients, myself and my current associate generally prefer adults. We would be happy to refer these cases to someone who likes them, but it's not a requirement. I would also be happy to help fund continuing education in these areas. I'm also happy to mentor in surgery, which is becoming the focus of my personal practice.

Everyone works one late day a week (seeing patients 9:30 to 7), and three early days (7:30 to 4). We are not open weekends and have thus far never come in to see emergencies after hours.
