Private office. 3 doc, 5 hyg. 10 ops (rm for an 11th). My wife and I own. I am 4-5 days a week, my wife is 2 days a week, and the associate is the previous owner and he is 3 days a week. My wife takes care of our kids so she will not be back full time for ~5 years. The previous owner/associate just started taking Mondays off this year.
We have a dental student in line graduating this May but we want to make sure we can sustain her schedule. How do we best analyze if we are ready for her?
other important factors: I am transitioning to airway. I do 1/2 day a week but due to me being the only full time doc, I am too busy to do any more. All 3 docs are there Tuesday & Wednesdays - those days are the best/least stressful. The owner doc may go to 2 days a week in 2027. My wife will be on maternity for 3 months staying this August.
